CES 2010: Where Is The iSlate and The Nexus One
In this year's Consumer Electronics Show held in Las Vegas, Nevada, there were a couple of gadgets that gadget freaks all over the world are drooling over and waiting for. However, a number of these items did not make it to the show. The reason behind them, we do not know for sure. All we know is that the buzz all over the web on their release during CES ended up to nothing. But of course, rumors do not die as easily so here are updates to the two most awaited gadgets that did not show up during the CES 2010.
1. Where is the iSlate?
Definitely, hundreds of thousands of people are waiting for the iSlate to be finally revealed so tech freaks out there could save up for the gadget. However, iSlate did not honor the guests with its presence with rumors circulating that it will finally be launched on January 27. We're not even sure if it really is called iSlate! Attentions were then turned to other tablets including that of HP and Lenovo.
2. Google's Nexus One
This long rumored device was said to be the iPhone's rival. However, we did not hear from it launching during the show in Las Vegas. Rather, it was launched elsewhere in Mountain View, California. Why, we do not know but it was still on display in Google's booth, though. It just was not launched there. We cannot say that it didn't show up, it just didn't create too much attention as we expected it to do.
Both gadgets, although overly hyped even before CES, actually met their matches during the trade show. There were various products that were able to match their capabilities and some even stepped higher. So, do you think that all the buzz about the iSlate (which we are not sure yet if that really is the name) and the Nexus One all worth it?
