Innovation and all the inventions that come with it really can't be stopped. Now, even hospitals embrace the technology of the robots that first appeared in Japan. Really, using robots for our everyday needs might be able to give unparalleled benefits in the long run. Such as RP-7 Robot's Virtual Doctor. I am calling it here as iDoctor, but that's not the official name. I like nicknames.

iDoctor is actually being used in a hospital in the University of Miami Jackson Medical Center in Florida. At first, patients were quite hesitant to interact with iDoctor, but as soon as they realized how convenient it is, they immediately loved it.

WiFi makes iDoctor work. So, iDoctor connects to the real doctor who is off duty and transmits video via the internet. Much like chatting, iDoctor actually show the face of the doctor so patients will be more comfortable in speaking with the robot.

Now, the patient can interact with the doctor anytime they want for as long as they have internet connection. During emergencies when the doctor can't get there faster, this technology is a real asset. On top of that, iDoctor should also be seen in the battlefields so that there will be fewer casualties and injuries can be attended to by a qualified professional.

This smart technology is a product of inTouch Health. No price was divulged since we are guessing you really won't need one at home.
