For people that want everything wireless, they are definitely going to love the Linksys Wireless Home Audio System. As the name implies, this collection of six different items utilizes wireless technology, allowing music to be played in any location of your home simultaneously. 
Comprises of five speakers and one large screen remote control, the Linksys Wireless Home Audio System allows continuous music flows through the proprietary wireless mesh network. One of the five speakers (the big one) however is designated as the network base station, which is required to be connected to the to the user's home network for the whole system to work. Not totally wireless but compared to the Sonos Multi-Room Music System, the Linksys Wireless Home Audio System leads the race by miles.
The Linksys’ music system also fuses the features of touch screen technology with its remote control, a feature not available in any Sonos music networking system.
Several tests have shown that the Linksys Wireless Home Audio System streams well with Rhapsody, Internet radio, PC, and iPod-based music to as many as three rooms one place. The easiness to set up the network and sync the devices required minimal effort, even for the not-so-techie audiophile.
