If there is anything that people cannot avoid, it’s getting old. Same goes for the things people love. For one, the cassette tape player is something people really loved ever since it was born until it was displaced by CD players and ultimately killed by the MP3s.

That said, the cassette player is still a classic item every music lover should have in his or her possession. While modern people may have been living with the easiness of digital music players, the same people cannot relive the great lengths audiophiles of the cassette era have to go through to get really listen to the tunes they want.

No more rewind buttons for them. Music hounds these days can simply pick a song they want and have it compiled in their playlist. As simple as that. During the age of the cassette player, a playlist means a mixed tape. That translates to a lot of cassette hunting and hours of recording. The process may be long, but the rewards are sweet – nonstop tape rolling of a person’s favorite hits from Duran Duran to the New Wave Pundits to Bon Jovi with the wild hair.

True, cassette players are now things of the old. An age that has passed through the time.

But hey, the cassette player was once the top dog in the music players’ list and has held that title for a long while. Such gadget really forced someone to really listen to a whole album, unless they do not get tired of skipping the songs in the cassette with forward button.
