Tectoy’s Zeebo gaming console
Tectoy announced their new Zeebo gaming machine. But before you go asking questions on if its actually worth reporting about, the system will be aimed for emerging markets (Brazil will be getting it July 2009), and it is said to run on a 3G network meaning that it will always have a connection to the Internet and more importantly (to the company and game publishers that is) cut down on piracy (sans no disk). Not much details have been released but we do know that Action Hero 3D, Evil Prey and Quake will be launched along side the system in Brazil.
In case you're wondering about a price the system is said to cost $258 USD or $599 Brazil with games running between $10-$30. Maybe this will be the "Eee PC" Gaming system of the developing world.
