This 2008 CES (Consumer Electronics Show) was filled with displays of robotic inventions. Nobody is complaining though because the robots did provide plenty of things to talk about and admire. The WowWee booth was especially attention- grabbing with the many robots they introduced. One particularly amazing invention was the WowWee Rovio. This robot is all about telepresence and home exploration. Best of all, it is WiFi enabled! Many at CES fell in love with it immediately! In fact, many has commented and appreciated the looks of the WowWee Rovio, a cool sting ray with wheels! It is quiet very functional too!

What this robot is capable of is movement in all directions. Its movements are easy, not awkward at all. Basically, the WowWee Rovio is a robotic webcam that is WiFi enabled. You can control this gizmo through devices that have access to the web. So that means you can move the Rovio around with your PC, your cellphone, or your game console. You can then view any area through the Rovio. The robot even transmits audio so it becomes the perfect device for any spying activity! This robot is also a breakthrough from its kind because it features the NorthStar – a smart system for positioning and navigation!
