Whenever I attend meetings and conferences, I always make sure that I have a pen and paper with me. I hate interrupting speakers, especially really good ones, so I write down my questions and comments on specific points that a speaker talks about. Sometimes, there may be more than one good speaker and I wait until everyone is finished so that my questions and comments are collated strategically. Sometimes, however, whenever I look at the words that I wrote on the paper, it seems like some of them do not make sense at all. I try to remember who said it and what the exact words were but memory seems to always fail me on this one. Then I learned about the Pulse Smartpen, I was impressed.

The Pulse Smartpen works both as a pen for taking down notes and a voice recorder, and it works simultaneously. Now, you need not worry about taking down every single word and forgetting your question in the process because all you need is to write down your question and record the lecture.

However, the function of Pulse Smartpen does not end at that. It is equipped with a high speed infrared camera and a Dot Positioning system that, when you use specially designed paper, the pen records everything you write down and saves it to the computer later. The special Dot Paper also has control functions that turns the pen's volume up and down and works as controls for downloadable games.

Pulse Smartpen has 2GB of built in memory and is connected to a computer via USB port.
