Samsung and Bang & Olufsen had come up with a music phone device called Samsung SGH-F310, which is also referred as Serenata. This product is a mobile phone which offers multiple special features that provide users with an outstanding music experience with its built-in MP3 player, WMA player, and AAC.
This music phone features a 2.26-inch Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) which allows users to conveniently see text and image display.
Other features include touch screen technology; Bluetooth technology; USB support; phonebook which can accommodate 1000 name entry; 4GB internal memory; messaging which include SMS, Email, and MMS; WAP 2.0Xhtml browser; GPRS; polyphonic ringtones; and other basic functions such as currency converter, world time, scheduler, and voice memo.
For those consumers who want to enjoy fully-functional mobile phone, this particular product may not provide them what they need since the Serenata does not have camera (a bad thing for photography enthusiasts), card slot, infrared port, HSCSD, and WLAN.
The Serenata comes at a suggested retail price of $2080, which is somewhat pricey for most consumers given the fact that this music phone device does only provide meager features.
