When the light goes off without warning, we are all victims to walking in the dark looking for a candle or a flashlight that will light our way. In the process, we bump into a lot of things mainly because we aren't really sure where we placed that darn lamp. However, with Sanyo's new addition to its Eneloop family, you will never need to look for the flashlight again. Never. The Eneloop Lamp has three features that make it a wonderful idea, and an economical one at that.

The Eneloop Lamp from Sanyo functions in three ways: a normal bedside lamp, a healing light, and a flashlight. So, this thing has a white light when it is in lamp mode that lasts about three to four hours in one charge, a blue lamp when it is in healing mode which either flickers or not, and a flashlight.

You might think that the lights won't make a good flashlight because most likely, the frosted glass will get in the way. But that's where you are wrong. Actually, the flashlight will only activate once you tilt the device at at least a 90 degree angle.

The lamp comes with an AC adaptor to make charging faster. It works on AA Eneloop batteries and the lamp itself can even be an Eneloop battery charger. So basically, it has four functions now!
