This is yet another original yet surprisingly a familiar gadget, which has an eye-catching display which is a superior attack to attract new users to the Dell Streak.  Although it is more like a multi-media tablet because of its oversized characteristic compared to a smart phone, it is a little too far from the Apple iPad.  Of course, it can make calls and send text messages, just like a regular phone does.  But it is way too contemporary to keep it just as your regular phone.

It has a five-inch screen with an ultra-responsive capacity which takes it to another level compared to any smartphone.  With Gorilla Glass as its main component, you can make sure it does not get scratched any hard pokes or scrapes.  Though it is not really as comfortable with reading E-books as the Apple iPad, it has a familiar user edge that has a drop down menu window and is capable of having up to six sliding home screens for further modification and personalization.

As a multi media gadget, it has a 5 MP camera like that of the iPhone 4, with a dual LED flash that can at least illuminate your captivating moments and then directly post them on to your Facebook and Twitter accounts!  It has a music player with which you can get crisp and fresh music through inserting your earphones in to the 3.5 millimeter headphone jack.

Overall, the Dell Streak is not really close to the iPad, although its big screen makes it different from the usual smart phones.  For £429, you are on your way to magnificent web browsing anytime, anywhere.
