A common problem a lot of people experience nowadays, when mobile phones are getting smaller and smaller, is constantly misplacing it. Thanks to a smart mother of three who noticed that a lot of people she knows constantly lose their mobile phones, here comes ZOMM Wireless Cellphone Leash.

ZOMM is a bluetooth powered device that works well as a keychain. What it does is it instantly beeps whenZOMM and your mobile phone get a little bit far from each other. On top of that, this cool gadget also includes a loudspeaker control, working like a detached speakerphone to your mobile phone. The button in the middle, when pressed, activates a security device that shrieks and automatically calls emergency services. Just like a normal bluetooth device, ZOMM allows you to take incoming calls, too!

ZOMM stands for Zachry, Olivia, and Madison's Mom, the person behind the idea of ZOMM. Her name is Laurie, and together with her husband Henry, they gathered a team of professionals because they got tired of constantly hearing their children and friends whining about misplacing their mobile phones.

ZOMM will be officially launched to the world starting January 5, 2010 at the Consumer Electronic Show in Las Vegas. Rumors have it that one unit costs roughly around $80 but that is a small price to pay instead of buying a new mobile phone if your current one gets lost.

We say this product is worth every penny, what do you think?
